Paul Eviston
More homeowners have entrusted the sale of their Vancouver detached home to Paul Eviston than any other real estate agent in the past 28 years. Paul is one of only two agents in Vancouver to receive the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver’s President’s Club Award for more than 20 years. This award recognizes the top 1% in the industry. Re/Max Worldwide has also recognized Paul with its highest award, the Circle of Legends. He is one of only three Vancouver Re/Max agents to receive this award for residential sales. In addition to these two prestigious awards, Paul has received every other sales award offered by both the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and Re/Max Worldwide.
Paul’s extensive knowledge, superior negotiating skills and proven ability to obtain winning results has earned him a reputation for the highest standards both in the industry and with clients alike. Says client and friend Billy Smith, Stanley Cup champion, (New York Islanders 1980-1984): “Having won four consecutive Stanley Cup championships I know what it takes to be successful year after year. When I was looking for a realtor I wanted someone who was results oriented and Paul was that.”
Paul’s ability to understand what his clients’ needs are and what is most important to them sets him apart. “We found Paul to be an expert listener which really helped us to all be on the same page throughout the process,” explains Bob and Ruth Glennie. Paul has the uncanny ability to read the market and make recommendations that best suit the client and their home. Clients appreciate Paul’s candid opinions and recommendations. With extensive knowledge in both renovation and new construction, Paul also offers his clients expert advice whether they are considering either renovations or a new build. Paul is also a firm believer in real estate ownership as an investment.
What all this really means to you the consumer is that Paul can help you in every aspect of your real estate journey. His clients rely on him for his knowledge more than anything else. Paul’s advice will help you sell your home sooner and realize your optimal result.
In addition to becoming one of the most respected realtors in the industry for nearly three decades, Paul feels most proud of the job he and his wife Jaina of 24 years have done in raising their family of four boys. Their eldest, Haydn, decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and works alongside his dad in the real estate business. Their two middle sons, Pearce and Bryce, play junior hockey in the Western Hockey League and the B.C. Hockey League. Their youngest son, Quinn, who is going into grade six, is actively involved in the arts and loves to moto-cross and go-cart with his dad. Paul’s years of experience as a husband and father give him a greater understanding of family dynamics and how this affects real estate decisions and timing.
Paul lives with his family in the community where he works and feels strongly about his responsibility to give back to the community that has supported his business for the past 28 years. He has volunteered thousands of hours of his time over the past 20 years coaching minor hockey, little league and soccer. Paul also actively supports the Children’s Miracle Network and has made significant donations to the schools in the community.
Paul is very passionate about the real estate business and enjoys his work immensely. He enjoys meeting the daily challenges and the wonderful cross section of people he encounters. Paul has mentored countless new agents and assistants throughout the years. He has served on committees at the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and also served in an advisory role on various industry panels.
